TECHNICAL DRAWING

TECHNICAL DRAWING

VOCABULARY
Make sure you master the key vocabulary

The technological process requires a specific language used to represent the objects we design and built.
Technical drawing is the method af communications specific to the field of technology.

The first step in the introduction to the technical drawing is becoming familiar with the drawing instruments.

Now, we begin to make drawings. Drawings of objects, pieces, installations, builidings...
But we must follow a series of established rules, so our drawings can be interpreted correctly.
Everything related to graphic representation that follow some rules is called technical drawing.

SKETCHES and VIEWS

The first thing we are going to practice  is sketching.

SCALES
Most objects cannot be represented in their real dimensions either because they are much larger than the drawing paper or because they are so small that it would be impossible to see any details in them.
The solution to this problem is to proporcionally, reduce or amplify all the dimension of the object.
That is, use a scale.

Learn something about scales.

Here are some exercises for practicing with scales
